DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE

         The Department of Commerce has an illustrious history nearing half a century from 1979 to the present. During this period, the department has proved its worth to be a part of this great institution by academic performance over the years. Prof. K Anirudhan was the first head of the Department and he was succeeded by equally great academicians. In its history of 36 years, the department has produced many rank holders at various university examinations. The department now offers 3 year Degree programme in commerce (B.com with Finance as Specialization) under CBCSS.
